CareCoach Mobile Health Unit
Lake Forest Hospital's Mobile Health Unit, known as the CareCoach, has been reaching the medically under-served population—including children and older adults—in our area since 1999.
Thanks to generous support from donors, our CareCoach takes its free health services and educational programs on the road to 27 community locations each month. A number of retail establishments, as well as organizations such as county senior centers, village halls and others, are among the CareCoach's regular monthly visit sites. Services provided by our registered nurse include screenings, counseling with a registered nurse, immunizations and referrals to physicians if needed.
